Palombaggia Beach is a stunning bay made up of six white sandy beaches, with shallow clear blue water, protected in part by pink granite rocks and backed by pine trees; it is about 10km south of Porto Vecchio. Five minutes by boat from here are the six Cerbicale islands, these nature reserves protect some unique flora and fauna including a sanctuary for crested cormorants. The islands can be reached by boat (Monte Cristo company), and the surrounding waters are a haven for the divers. A riding school also offer rides on the beach in the morning, when the scenery is at its quietest. Tamaracciu is a fantastic restaurant on the beach where you can also enjoy drinks and rent loungers. All this can be enjoyed from one of our villas in the area all of which have their own pool and are near to Palombaggia beach.
