This stylish contemporary villa offers outstanding views from its elevated position overlooking the Porto Vecchio Gulf. Bathed in natural sunlight throughout the day, the villa and infinity pool are a sunbathers delight with the outside pool bar close at hand for that much needed cold refreshment. The interior is spacious, sleek with tastefully chosen design furnishing and equipment; a perfect recipe for a holiday villa. The residential location is ideal with a back road of about 1km which leads into the old town centre brimming with boutiques, open air cafes and restaurants; alternatively about 15-20 minutes walk is the smart marina area where you can enjoy one of several good restaurants (we recommend ‘The Lodge’ or “Bistro’), or you can just stroll around admiring the smart boats. The beaches of Cala Rossa and St Cyprien just north of Porto Vecchio, or Palombaggia and St Giulia just to the south, are all about 10 - 15 minutes drive.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION:
Built in a private residence sharing the grounds with 4 other villas, Villa Alta is built on 3 levels. The parking area is below the pool levelwhere there is a small apartment occupied by the guardian who looks after the garden and pool. Via outside steps you reach the upper level on which the villa is located. You enter from the rear into the open plan sitting/dining room area with separate wc, and at the far end, the kitchen. From the large sofa the views through the French windows are over the Porto Vecchio Gulf; there is a flat screen satellite TV, DVD and CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, electric rings, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A door leads to the covered terrace which has a large table and chairs for outdoor dining
Leading down a corridor from the kitchen are a twin bedroom and a double bedroom - each bedroom is spacious with its own ensuite shower room/wc and with access to the front terrace through French windows above the pool. On the same level is a separate studio with a double bedroom, a small kitchen with washing machine, oven, electric cooking rings plus table and chairs, and a shower room/wc. Stairs lead down from the kitchen to a utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board. A curved staircase leads upstairs to the master double bedroom with dressing room, en suite bathroom with corner bath, shower and wc; French doors give access to an outside balcony with spectacular views. All bedrooms have air conditioning.

The infinity swimming pool is 8m x 4m and has lovely terrace, sun loungers, parasol and outside shower. A pool bar has been built to one side and has fridge, hot plate for grilling meats and wc.
Due to the difference in levels and the open plan staircase, young children require extra supervision. Outside July and August the villa can be rented without the use of the separate studio at reduced rates, in which case the studio remains locked.
