This small residence with its individual mini-villas has been thoughtfully created in an attractive setting of cork trees and Corsican maquis. It is just 700m walk from the sandy beach at Valdella, one of the coves that make up the lovely bay of Pinarellu. Not far away are some wonderful bathing areas in the River Cavo. The local baker delivers fresh bread, and in the evening there are restaurants to choose from at St Lucie and Pinarellu – both just a short drive. St Lucie nearby also has a couple of bakeries, tourist office and post office.
Each mini-villa has its own terrace with furniture plus a built in barbecue, to enjoy the summer evenings, with the mountains of the Bavella National Park offering a magnificent view from the grounds of the residence. The vibrant, bustling centre of Porto Vecchio is just 20 minutes drive.
Marina Di A Testa has a total of 14 mini-villas used by Corsican Affair (plus 8 studios which are rented locally) :
- 2 bedroom mini-villa (Type A), 5 sharing. One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The open-plan living/dining room has air-conditioning, a sofa bed and at one end a kitchenette with fridge and cooking area. There is a separate shower room with WC, hairdryer plus a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Each villa has its own terrace with table, chairs and built-in barbecue. Special reduced rates for 2 sharing (except July & August).
- 3 bedroom mini-villa (Type B), up to 6 sharing. The same as the 2 bedroom villa with an additional double bedroom as well as a bath plus shower and WC in the bathroom.
- Cascading 12m x 7m swimming pool, poolside jacuzzi (unheated).
- All mini-villas have air-conditioning.
- Reception with bar and TV.
- Restaurants, shops at Pinarellu and St Lucie.
