This charming little villa is ideally situated on the way to the stunning forest area of Ospedale and the mountains of Bavella. With only 20 minutes drive from the villa you can be walking the paths of the Ospedale Forest, picnicking by the lake or bathing in the mountain rivers. Porto Vecchio, the largest town in the south of the island is only 2.5km drive from the villa and has a wide selection of shops, boutiques and restaurants, the nearest being Le Goeland and U Molu in the marina. There is also an excellent Corsican restaurant, Le Refuge, 30 minutes drive at Cartalavone near Ospedale. The beaches to the north of Porto vecchio such as Cala Rossa, as well as to the south, are easily accessible by car.
The views from the terrace are over the fields and beyond to the Bay of Porto Vecchio, and the colourful garden and pool area offers a relaxing spot for those after lunch siestas.
DETAILS OF ACCOMODATION
You enter directly into the open-plan living room which has air-conditioning, sofa,chairs, satellite TV, DVD, and stereo plus French windows to the outdoor pool and terrace area. The kitchen and dining area is adjacent to this and is fully equipped with microwave oven and gas rings, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. A small corridor leads to a separate WC, a shower room, a twin bedroom which has a door to a double bedroom with en-suite shower room/WC. Both bedrooms have French windows to the garden and terrace; a cot and highchair are available - please request in advance.
Up steep stairs (with child security gate) is the air-conditioned master double bedroom with TV, DVD player, open-plan bathroom with bath and washbasin, and outside terrace with views over the Bay of Porto Vecchio. Outside is a barbecue and garden furniture beside the 8m x 4m swimming pool, which has sunloungers and parasol.
